‘Maatran’s pre-production work in progress

It looks like the success of ‘Ko’ has boosted an additional amount of adrenaline into director K.V. Anand’s system. The director is busy packing his bags along with his music director Harris Jayaraj. The duo will fly off to Nigeria soon to compose music for KV’s upcoming Suriya starrer ‘Maatran.’

The film will see Suriya and Kajal Agarwal sharing screen space together for the first time in Tamil cinema!

After getting the dates from Suriya and Kajal, the first thing that Anand did was summon his lead pair into his office and they had a one day shoot; just to check out how the pairing worked. The director is absolutely happy to see the way the shots have gone and has described this Suriya-Kajal pair as the next-most-happening pair in K’town!

It looks like there is a lot of hard work that will go into ‘Maatran’ from the director’s as well as the hero’s point of view because KV has got around more than eight months of call sheet from Suriya and Kajal. Though initially, Suriya was worried about committing himself for a film for eight months, he is believed to have convinced the other directors he is working with, who seemed to have agreed to Suriya’s request.

If ‘Ko’ could beat the records of ‘Ayan,’ maybe ‘Maatran’ will beat all its predecessors’ records!

7am Matham 7am naal – 7am Arivu music!

The rarity of events may create big buzz in any field. The Tamil audience is eagerly waiting for the audio release of 7am Arivu. The music is done by Harris Jeyaraj whose preference for Surya movies will shoot up the heat. Moreover the director is none other than Murugadoss who got the reaping benefits from Harris through Gajni.
Now the unit sources claim that Harris has confirmed the launch of audio in a month’s time. It may be on 7th July if everything goes off well. Harris Jeyaraj & Surya combination is so far one of the most successful actor-music director combination with hits including Ghajini, Ayan & Varanam Ayiyam.
Interestingly audio of other two most expected films Thala’s Mankatha & Thalapathi’s Velayutham is also likely to be launched in the 1st week of July.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is joining with Ajith for the third time after Dheena & Billa and Vijay Antony is joining for the second time with Vijay after the sensational hit songs in Vettaikkaran. So music season is advancing for the Tamil Film Music lovers with three most expected album release. YAY..

Suriya’s 7am Arivu Audio release on July 8th, 2011

TAMILKEY is continuously bringing you the latest updates of Suriya’s 7am Arivu for all his fans and for those who are keenly waiting. Now we are back with the audio release date of the film. We have mentioned enough number of times regarding the audio release the filmmakers have postponed it due to some official problems.
But now the audio release date is confirmed by the films music director Harris Jayraj. Harris confessed in his microblogging site that 7aam Arivu audio launch is going to take place exactly in 30 days. It means the audio is all set to hit the stores on or before July 8th, 2011. The album has total of 6 songs including a Chinese track. The Chinese song is the special attraction of the album which was sung by mandarin singer Hau. This particular song has sounds dating back to more than 2,000 years. Interesting isn’t it.
The audio launch will take place in a grand manner and the venue is expected to be Nehru Stadium. Suriya will be performing nearly 10 astonishing feats live on stage along with some trained circus artistes which will be a special attraction of the audio launch.
Shruthi Haasan is playing as the female lead opposite Suriya in the film. 7aam Arivu is directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Red Giant Movies banner.

Suriya celebrates son’s b’day in style!

Suriya and Jyothika celebrated the first birthday of their son Dev in style.
The birthday bash was a very private affair, held at a resort on ECR. Dev’s sister Diya arranged all the fun and games for the kids who attended the birthday party.
The actor who was the brand ambassador of CCL, was to have been at the inaugural of the first match at Bangalore along with Salman Khan, but skipped it to celebrate his son’s first birthday.
However the actor made it and played the CCL’s next match in Chennai where he captained Chennai Rhinos in its next match against Karnataka Bulldozers.
A very select group of friends like Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kiruthiga, Ajith and wife Shalini, director Bala and Hari, and immediate family consisting of dad Sivakumar, mom, sister and younger brother Karthi, along with Cousin Gjnavel Raja and his wife Neha were present on the occasion.

Suriya and Ajith @ war?

Ajith is awaiting the release of his film ‘Mankatha.’ Directed by Venket Prabhu this film is more special to the ‘Ultimate star’ because this is his 50th film! It looks like ‘Mankatha’ has been wrapped up. The team is busy carrying out the post-production work. Director Venkat Prabhu seems to have zeroed in on bringing the film to Ajith fans in July.

Now it looks like there will a battle between the Ajith and Suriya fans.

On the other side we have the Suriya-Murugadoss-Harris team working on ‘7am Arivu.’ This sci-fi thriller sees Suriya and Sruthi haasan teaming up for the first time. ‘7am Arivu’ too is in its post-production stage. The director has revealed that the special effects and the CG in this film will be on par with that of a Hollywood flick! Murugadoss plans to release this film in July as well.

We also hear that both the films might release on a same date. Wow a double treat for movie-buffs this July? Or will it be a clash between the two handsome and most-wanted heroes of the industry?

ஆனால் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட இருவரும் நண்பர்களாகவே இருப்பார்கள்.

படத்தில் வரும் அந்த காட்சியில் ஆர்யாவும், விஷாலும் சூர்யா காலில் விழுவார்களாம். இந்த காட்சிக்கு ரசிகர்களின் ரியாக்ஷன் எப்படியிருக்குமோ என்று தவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் இருவரும்.

இவர் நடிக்கும் "மாற்றான்" படத்தில் இவரது கதாபாத்திரம் தான் இப்படி சொல்ல வைத்திருக்கிறது.

கே.வி.ஆனந்த் இயக்கும் இந்தப் படத்தில் ஒட்டிப் பிறந்த இரட்டையர்களாக சூர்யா நடிக்கிறார். இப்படி ஒட்டிப் பிறந்த குழந்தைகளை அறுவை சிகி/**/ச்சை மூலம் பி/**/ரித்தால் இரு குழந்தைகளுமே மரணமடைய நேரும். அதனால் அப்படியே விட்டுவிடுவார்கள். அவர்கள் வளர்ந்த பிறகும் ஒட்டியே இருப்பார்கள். நடப்பது முதல் படுப்பது வரை அனைத்துமே சிரமம்.

இதனை மையமாக வைத்து மலையாளத்தில் ஒரு திரைப்படம் வெளிவந்தது. அதில் ஒட்டிப் பிறந்தவர்களாக இரு வேறு நடிகர்கள் நடித்தனர். மாற்றானில் இந்த இரு வேடத்திலும் சூர்யாவே நடிக்கிறாராம்.

When a small bit of news leaks out from the ‘7am Arivu’ bay, it gets sucked in rapidly by the media as well as by film buffs who are patiently waiting to see what the Murugadoss-Suriya duo have to offer this time. The film, which is touted to be a sci-fi thriller, has seen some set back in the release date due to the immense post-production work undertaken.

While there is no doubt that Murugadoss will keep the audience at the edge of their seats, many Suriya fans are eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of their star in various avatars in the film.

‘7am Arivu’ which was touted to hit theatres during this year’s summer has been postponed by a couple more of months due to the CG works and post-production works. But recently there was a word from the man helming the project, Murugadoss that his team might be able to bring ‘7am Arivu’ to the theatres by July.

Though that is almost a month away the director seems to have also revealed that the music of the film will come out by mid-June.

That’s some relief for Suriya and Harris’s fans.

Harris Jayaraj, who has been delivering non-stop hits one after the other is sure to hit the bulls-eye with this film’s track suggest experts in the field. There are also reports doing the rounds that Shruthi Haasan, the lead lady of this project, has belted out a peppy number for Harris Jayaraj in this album!

With all these stories doing the rounds the wait for the movie among fans has become unbearable. But it is just gonna be in a jiffy that mid-June slips by and the music of the film hits the stands!
