A villain change in 'Maatraan'!

There has been a change in the villain of 'Maatraan'! Prakash Raj, Indian cinema's favourite villain has been dropped out of the film and Sachin Khedekar has been roped in to replace him!

"Prakash Raj committed very few days for Maatraan as he was busy shuttling between various projects. Not only that, whenever he came to the sets, the team had to spend too much time on his make up and other issues which is not even required", says a little birdie close to the 'Maatraan' team.

And hence he was dropped out of the project, and Sachin Khedekar whom we saw as Amala Paul's father in much-acclaimed 'Deiva Thirumagal' will play 'Maatraan's baddie.

'Maatraan' featuring Suriya and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles is a KV Anand offering and the film is taking shape at a brisk pace. It is said that audience will get to see a younger Suriya through this film and he might also be seen in multiple avatars.

7 Aim Arrive audio launched on 22 September

nitially it was reported that the audio of 7Am Arivu starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan would be launched on 10 September. But now sources say it has been changed.
Buzz is that the audio would now be launched on 22 September. It is said that the audio launch may take place either at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai or in Malaysia and that it will be a very grand affair. The satellite rights are sold to Sun TV.
The producer tweeted, “7 Aim Arrive will be a Red Giant release for this Denali October 26th! Only the satellite rights have been sold to Sun TV.”

'7am Arivu' to highlight upon Tamil tradition?

The story of '7am Arivu', Suriya's forthcoming film directed by A R Murugadoss, is said to be based on a time machine, that is invented by a young scientist, played by Shruthi Haasan.

"The time machine reveals various hidden truths about ancient Tamil history and tradition, even as a powerful gang is chasing the invention to snatch it away. How their attempts are thwarted (by Suriya) and how he makes the world understand and appreciate the richness of Tamil culture is what the film about," say sources.Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, Suriya plays three different roles in this film, that of an aggressive monk, a scientist and a circus artist.

Music has been scored by Harris Jayaraj, who gave super hits for Suriya-Murugadoss' earlier venture 'Ghajini'. Grand plans are being made for the audio launch function, where Suriya is expected to perform some tricks that he was trained in for his performance as a circus artist in the film.

Surya’s 7am Arivu track list

From the past few days there is buzz about the audio launch of 7am Arivu and we have heard different dates. The last date we heard is August 20th from the sources close to the music director but now we get know another date i.e. September 3rd, 2011.
So, all you guys might have been waiting for the audio release from long time and to reduce some of your excitement and eagerness we have brought you the track list of the film. Harris Jayraj has given exceptional music and the album has total of six songs including a Chinese track. The Chinese song is the special attraction of the album which was sung by mandarin singer Hau.

Suriya's horse fetches record sum

Suriya's costar in 7am Arivu has four legs! Since Suriya plays a circus artiste in the film what could be more appropriate than a horse for a companion? Apparently this horse is a superbly trained specimen and was invaluable during the shooting. All the portions involving this animal superstar have been filmed so the team wanted to find a good place for the horse where it will be well looked after.

The horse was then put up for sale in a famous market town near Erode which has been functioning since Tipu Sultan's reign. Many livestock used in films have formerly been sold here for outrageous prices. But Suriya's horse which was sold for a record sum of 5 lakhs has set the bar really high. The crew members waved it off as the star horse went away with its new owners.

7am Arivu release on Diwali

The ‘7am Arivu’ hitting the headline again and again after the release of the first look. The producer if the film is planning to release the audio in a unique manner.

Source close to the production house says that “They are planning for a grand audio launch, but the audio launch date is not yet finalized yet. ‘7am Arivu will be hit the screens on Diwali (October 26th).”
And it’s reported that “The director A.R Murugadoss and Surya are trying to take the Tamil cinema audience to a new level. Surya went for training in juggling, hand walking, gymnastics and acro-dancing before the shoot of the film.”

Surya to live perform at 7am Arivu Audio Launch

During audio releases, It is a common practice to make choreography for the songs sequenced in a movie. But for a change, Surya will be donning some acrobatics scenes which find place in 7am Arivu. The movie depicts the hero as an acrobatics master and Surya has done a marvelous job in this film.
Murugadoss, the director intends to do something different for the promotion of this movie. Hence he suggested Surya to go on live on stage for these scenes. This will be performed at the audio launch scheduled in Chennai soon.

Information reveal that this show will be live at Nehru Stadium and the TV rights are secured by Kalaignar TV since the producer is Udyanithi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. The impact of the movie is closely watched by the eminent actors in Bollywood since they believe this may be another Ghajini.
The event will find the parallel release of the trailer for Udayanithi starring Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
